Episode 2 - Creating the materials

In this episode, we are going to listen to 2 researchers who are partners in the DITTS project which is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD):

Dr. Amanda Lange-Salvia, is a post-doctral researcher of Civil Engineering with a focus on sustainability working for the university of Passo Fundo in Brazil and

Prof. Dr. Melanie Nicolau, Associate Professor at the Department of Geography from the University of South Africa.

They will share insights and learnings from creating the teaching materials within the project which started at the beginning of 2022 and will be finalised by the end of 2025. The aim is to create open educational teaching materials - socalled OER - for higher education institutions to introduce undergraduate students to the SDGs.

All materials created will be available on the learning platform Digital Learning for Sustainable Development
